I would have though the Super Sports would be way better than the 760s?? To bad they don't make the Super Sports in stock sizes
The PSS are better than the 760s. However, they also cost a lot more and there is a limit to how far either car can be pushed on public roads. I guess it all depends on how much performance you are looking for and how much you are willing to pay to achieve it.

I have these on my Miata and had them on my Bimmer and love them. Just hate that they don't seem to come in standard size for our Z's.
The tires on my GTO are on the stock wheels and I believe they are the stock sizes. The tires on my Z06 are on aftermarket wheels and are larger than stock - 275/35/18 Front, 305/30/19 Rear
1010tires.com has the nitto NT05s available. I've read they're a reliable supplier.
I need to order new tires for next season as the goodyears may or may not be original to my '03 Z (stil plenty of traction it seems) and although they grip OK they behave like on/off switch until really warm, and it seems to take a lot to get them up to temp.
I am torn on the Bridgestone RE760 and the Nitto NT05 and NT555, I may only do 1 or 2 track days next year, and I will probably get caught in the rain once or twice as well. Not sure if its worth the extra bucks (only a couple hundred) for the NT05's to sacrifice longevity, quiet, comfort, and wet weather traction for a more aggressive look and better traction in perfect conditions.
How does the NT555 compare? does it come in similar size? Don't see anyone really mentioning that model
I just put the Bridgestone 760s on my car and they work pretty well. NT05s were not available so I went this route. Car is all stock with the zip tie mod for the filter. After driving the car and when the tires are warm they hook up pretty well. Banging 1st to 2nd at basically redline they will spin just a little bit so I am happy with the traction. The other night it was cool out (60s in Phoenix) and I hit it hard just down from the street from the house. No heat and they did break loose going into second. I am not going to road race this car and was not going to spend $1550 for Michelins. So far so good.
