Plenty of folks on here using the same or similar adapter with no problem. Personally I spent less than Ecklers and got a custom **** with it through Ebay. Many, including myself had to drill out the adapter slightly to get it to fit properly, but it was easy. I also visited my local Ace Hardware and picked up some longer set screws to keep it in place nice and tight. The ones that came with my adapter were very short and tended to loosen over time and the **** would lift off. No issues with the longer set screws. Here's mine...

I had one for a couple of years and it was ok, I needed a different look in the interior dept and that was one of the changes, I have gone back to the stock **** now because it is a bit easier to work and feels much better, Using the adaptor raises your **** up an inch or so.

I'm well aware of the search tool my friend and use it on a regular basis - but was looking for a fresh opinion. Thanks for yours.

Thanks Mr. Bill that answered my question and was exactly the kind of opinion and information I was looking for.
