I got one from the dealer. Not cheap, but even if you can buy one from an aftermarket parts vendor, the shipping is a killer. No shipping charges if you get it from the dealer.
I got a custom kit from www.carmotorsports several yrs ago & it looks like new. They supply a cover mat'l that goes over your original liner which you can order custom embroidery as you see fit. Easy DIY using the kit mat'l. Good Luck!
[QUOTE=8VETTE7;1588001458] If you need to replace the liner because of damage to it, get one from your dealer. Shipping is indeed a killer add on to the price because of the size of it.
On the other hand if the liner is in good condition except dirty and needs some attention, you might read this thread about painting yours. Lot less expensive and if carefully done looks great.
I just bought my vette yesterday and the hood liner was a little dirty with shades of grey. I saw several different suggestions h
ere on the Forum but they were either too much money or too much work. Then it came to me. I live in Texas and love my cowboy boots. To blacken the heals during a shine I always use Fiebing's leather sole and heel edge dressing. I have a bottle and gave it a try. Presto.... It was easy as pie and absolutely perfect. Just lay a blanket over the engine compartment just in case of a few splatters. Trust me, this works perfectly and it might cost you 10-15 dollars.
