What floor mats have you found that are more durable than the Lloyds mats????Specifically I'm looking for a mat that has a heel pad for the drivers right heel
8Vette7, I haven't tried these yet, I keep meaning to order a set. They look like exact replacements for the stock mats, and do have the heel pad...........a feature which seems very hard to find.
And yes, I agree with you on Lloyds mats, I think they are overpriced.

The ones from Zip do look like they would do a good job. I have Lloyds mats in my car and I have a set of clear mats that I placed over them to help keep them looking good.
I bought 2 sets of Lloyd's mats when I first got the car in '04. Still have the first pair in the car. Second pair still in wrapper in closet. Daily driver and first pair still looks pretty good.

That's what I do too, but even with the clear mats, the Lloyds mats still show heel wear after awhile.

Got mine in Aug 2000. Still on the 1st set...DD with 114k.
Had my custom mats made by Rich Van't Hoff several years ago with custom embroidery colors to match the rest of my custom interior. Mine is a DD and they still look like new.
Had Lloyds Heavy Duty previously - they were "cushy", but did not last. I do have the Lloyds Cargo mat and it is great in that application.
I would recommend the all season rubber floor mats. I have a set of Buick ones that I had from back in 2005/2006 and I've been using them in my daily drivers for the last 8-9 years and they haven't worn down at all. Worth the investment if you plan on keeping the car for a while.

If your looking for overall durability, I would suggest diamond plate floor mats. I know Dennis at Double D sells them among other vendors. The only problem right off the bat is they aren't cheap.
when I bought my car it came with Lloyd's mats driver and passenger mats do show a lot of wear very disappointed with the quality, I have a cheap set in my "work" truck from the local auto parts and they look much better and there 6+ years old
