Happen to know the specs on your cam? Oh wait, you have no idea because you bought your car from the previous owner with no info
Good one ! Actually I don't nor do I care to know and no need for immature attacks just because I have stated a personal opinion ! Do you expect for everyone in here to just bow down and love the look of these cars ! everyone is entitled to their opinion on these forums period!

This is the only immature attack I can find in this thread:
I only made an observation that I find it amusing that the stock guys always seem to be the most critical. I don't even like the C5 in the original post. Hopefully it has changed a bit since then as the original picture posted appears to be at least 7 years old.
Out of all the "car groups" I have been around, 'Corvette guys' are, by far, the most closed minded. If you think it is immature for me to point that out, then I guess you'll just have to think I am immature.

I have been on this forum for almost 10 years and never thought that the Corvette guys are "closed minded", just because many Vette owners like to keep their cars classy looking and not trashy does not mean we are closed minded! Try to sell that blue Ferrari and tell me if
any "open minded" person would even give it a second look!!

Good point. That statement about Corvette owners being closed minded is so true and although i own a Corvette i try NOT to portray that image. People stereotype others based on the auto or truck they drive and the Corvette stereotype is applied for a reason. The BMW and Porsche owners earned their's also.To change peoples perception will take a long time, maybe never.

Well yeah, being one of those people, of course you wouldn't notice it
As far as claiming that most vette owners keep their cars classy, no comment. Some of the mods that I see posted on here are anything but classy.
i for one have had air ride and loved it the ride was great and one of the best handling truck I was ever in.... yup laid frame would light up the road from the sparks lol
I like to enjoy my cars trucks and suv's never cared about resale value only cared about enjoying them by doing what I like to them
never have a problem knowing what I got park in the public parking lot, hell even my work truck stands out and gets complements
if its not your thing so be it but to bash on it is rude we are all car guys
Black 02 I have to agree out of all the forums I'm on corvette owners kinda hate when you mod one unless it under the hood
95 custom gmc on air i'm sure its not every ones cup of tea but it was featured in truck'in and gauge magazines

Not my cup of tea, but kudos to him for being different.
But to add to the arrogance, the two most ARROGANT ****** I've ever met, one was a Mustang guy who put a ton of money into his mid-80s Mustang with (claimed) over 1000 HP and was "only" running a best of 10.XX in the 1/4 mile.
Now, I don't know much about mods, suspension, etc, but I sure as hell know most cars with over 1000 hp "should" be running a hell of a lot faster than 10s.
So I showed this guy a "ROBZ" video at MIR running 9.33 with a 6-Speed Corvette and he laughs at me saying "Oh, since it's on YouTube, I guess it's got to be real" WTF? Is this guy a douchebag or what?
The second arrogant ***** was..............a Corvette owner. (Up in Washington State).
Met the ***** at the waterfront in Tacoma and even after I said hello, introduced myself, SHOWED PHOTOS, and started some "Corvette Talk" he was blowing me off and said "Oh yeah, I don't see any Corvette". (No **** dude, it was back in AZ).
So, I never down anyone for what ride they have or what they've done to it. But I will say, there are douchebags for every make and model.
stereotype definition. A generalization, usually exaggerated or oversimplified and often offensive, that is used to describe or distinguish a group.
Sorry if i offend anyone but it does seem that for every 2 Vette owners that are nice friendly people there are 3 that walk around with their noses in the air. Those 3 give the entire group that stereotype.
I know ****** that drive Prius....Toyota trucks.... Audi.... Muscle cars.....you get the picture......what you drive doesn't make you a *****.......your just a ***** that happens to be driving whatever it is that floats your boat.......
Sorry OP I know this has Nothing to do with your original question....hopefully whoever the car belongs to isn't a *****!
Personally, I don't want my vette bagged, but it is a life style
There are plenty of vettes around so feel free to cut a few up.
I have a bagged square body and I am bagging a 46 Chevy Truck.
Had a bagged S10 that was sick in the corners. Lay that frame on the
ground and it will turn at any speed.
It seems it would be pretty easy to bag a vette.
There are more stereotypical people driving Vettes then driving a bagged car.
I don't think I have met a single car guy who was not shocked that I own a vette.
They always say I am so not a typical vette guy. They mean it as a compliment.
I would try to find that cars owner in air ride forums, and you tube. no way
he would hang out in this forum. You have to tread lightly here.
Ask in the C1Forum. I think a few of those guys have gone to shows with that vette.
To the guy that states that the Ferrari is ruin you just need to eat your words.. this vehicle is owned by the shop owner where i do tuning for Diesel cars and trucks for XXXX Tuning company.. He has more money then he knows what to do with since he won the Florida Lottery a few years back and was smart about it and stuck 99% of it in investments and still lives in his normal 2 bedroom 2 bath 1000 sqft house, he loves and enjoys cars so he spends his money on cars.. This car is his.. and he doesn't care what you think about it.. its not your car to complain about.. its HIS... This car has over 35 Awards this year alone in car shows around Florida for best of show, best stance, best euro car..etc... This car is LOVED and DROOLED about by more people than the entire population of corvette drivers probably, its been in 8 different magazines with 6 of them being international magazines.. Its a 1 off air suspended build that would out corner your vette anyday..now to get off my soap box..
I just wanted to know the guy who owned the C5 vette, if you can't supply this info to me.. than leave your negative comments to yourself.. noone is asking for them.. I personally love lowered cars on air, and find them to be easier and more relaxing to drive.. My current daily driver is Aired out and i cant count how many times i have had people ride in my car and tell me that it feels like your riding on bellowy clouds.. it just rides that nice.. i personally got into air because i downsized from trucks and still wanted a way to tow my ATV or Dirt Bike up into the mountains of Colorado and my car would bottom out the rear on OEM suspension just pulling a 200lb dirt bike and gear on a trailer up the mountain.. but i have really enjoyed the stance ever since.. I love my car to death and enjoy riding it.. its effecient, fast, and smooth riding.. but i still miss driving a Corvette and even though i am going from a FASTER car into a SLOWER stock car.. its not the speed i am worried about its the happiness it provides while owning one that i am after..
For the ones that posted pics, here is one of my Daily i currently drive.. its my Dirty Diesel.. with Compound turbo setup..

Most close-minded people believe they are open-minded; if they were truly open-minded they would realize how close-minded they act.
That was originally built by a shop here in Houston. I've seen it in person several times but this was probably 6-8 years ago. No telling where the car is now. And yes it's bagged, obviously. There was also a bagged white one around the same time.
I want to say it was done by the owner of Ekstensive, but I could be wrong on that. Too many custom shops here to keep up with.
