How many of you actually use your tinted roof panel? I find it very warm in the summer and actually think it looks better without it!
My thoughts exactly on both counts, plus as it does not have the insulation of the colored roof panel it is also noisier, and so mine hangs in the garage 95% of the time.
Like the BSM subject, there are alternate views on this, and there are many people who love the tinted roof panel and use it exclusively. I am glad I have both as I wouldn't want to not have the option to use the tinted panel occasionally when the whim takes me.
I have both but mainly use the painted top. Look wise it doesn't matter on to me, the tinted and black top match my black vett. I just didn't like all the sunlight shinning on me with my dark tinted windows. So I stick with the painted top now.

In Arizona, I use the painted roof during the summer to avoid the "ant under a magnifying glass" feeling from May to October - - -then the lexan top during the cooler season.
I've got both in the car now, one on it and one in it. I just got the painted top and love it. I've thought about selling the tinted top but it's too much of a hassle to ship so I'll keep it safely stowed in the hatch for now.
My glass top was badly spidered, so I kept it off for 4-5 years. I don't drive in the rain, so it was never an issue. I bought a new glass top last spring and didn't take it off all summer. I actually think I like the looks of my car better with it on. I also like the fact that it protects my interior from the sun when I'm at car shows.
Since we have both we try to use both. In the summer time it's just too hot for the tinted top. We will be putting the clear top on in the next couple of weeks. Myself I think the car looks better with the colored top and of course the wife thinks the opposite.

Same in NC. Currently painted top, but when the clocks change, so does the top.
