Move the tow point on the C5 up six inches or so, fill the trunk with sandbags, and it's not even a contest.
As it stands now the Blazer is literally lifting the C5 up off its rear tires.

Couldn't even make it to the end.. That idiot doesn't deserve the right to even sit in a vette yet alone drive one.. I'm sorry I even watched it. Mommy and daddy will fix it when it gets broke.

You guys are a bit harsh. He had fun with HIS vehicle safely and didn't hurt anyone. I'm sure this isn't much worse on the car than a dozen drag strip passes

IF he had the line in the middle and slick sticks... he COULD have a chance against a two wheel drive pickup, but stupid anyway.. especially when he got yanked sideways in the beginning

You're right, it's his vehicle and he can do with it what he wants. Still doesn't make that stunt a totally stupid thing to do. Sure as heck wouldn't want to buy that car if he doesn't care for it any better than that.

No, to answer your question. Even the s10 blazer will out weigh the Corvette. Although once both vehicles tires go up in smoke, it would depend one which one had the better traction, and momentum. The Corvette may have had a better chance if it would have had a hitch or a way to get the rope in the center. For those of us that bought used, we don't know what our cars have been through.
