Sometimes you just run across something that makes you scream out loud, “What the Hell were they thinking?" and, "Where they on drugs?” This, sadly, is one of those moments. In my inbox today, terror from Craigslist was waiting for me.
It is, as you can see, a C5 Corvette. It’s done 110,000 miles, it has a proper six-speed manual, and has obviously been customized by someone who loves Dr. Seuss way too much. He definitely did like green eggs and ham because his car is the same color.
Not quite my ride but it shows an appreciation of the car.
I saw this car in person in Homestead florida and it does have a very nice paint job. I dont much care for the dubs or the 6 exhaust pipes and the wing but it is a 6 speed fixed roof coupe that the guy cared for quite a bit. There are lots of nice cars in Florida and yes, only in Florida will you find the nicest cars around.
I have a beautiful zr1 that will kick azz in any state.
I will agree that is not something that most Corvette enthusiast would like, but your little remark about where it is from was a little harsh. I have seen some Corvette's that would make this look like a show winner from other areas of the country.
The beauty of the sport..........there's something for everyone. That's what's so unique about our passion. From the type A #s matching fanatics to the mod freaks with blowers protruding from their '62 roadster........and maybe even in "slime green".
