"Bubbles" on dash pad
When I was putting my car into storage a few weeks ago I noticed some very slight "bubbles" or "ripples" on the dash pad near the defroster vent. Can't see it from the driver's seat.
Not terrible at all but trying to be proactive. What steps can I take in the spring to keep it from getting worse? I read an article where it said to poke a pin hole in the edge of the bubble, use a dowel to get the air out, then use a syringe to inject some sort of glue...then use the dowel again to smooth it out. Any other (or better) ideas?

I didn't think I would actually like the dash pad but now that I've had it a for a few months I do like it. It breaks up the interior somewhat and gives it a different texture from the rest of the interior even though it's the same color, black.
So again I guess it depends on if it's actually bubbles. But personally I would be afraid to poke holes in my dash because if it's a drying issue, you just gave it a place to separate in the future.

I too would consult with a good interior trim shop and see if they have any other methods that would yield good results.
