Hey gang! You might want to check out your local Costco. Mine has Techron injector cleaner with a $ 7.00 instant rebate = $12.99 net for 6-16oz. bottles. It's not the "concentrate" but at that price, what the heck.
Drive it if weather permits.
Isn't it true that Techron Injector Cleaner is different than the fuel system additive used to treat the fuel gauge problem? If you're looking to get this for the gauge reading zero, it's not going to help for that.

Not being a chemist, I have no idea if there is a difference of the contents. The label on both bottles states the same including "proprietary additive". I've had the zero reading problem and thanks to smarter than I members of this forum, the additive treatment worked.
My original post did state Injector Cleaner with no reference to zero gauge. Hopefully I didn't sway anyone towards a gauge fix.
I've been using Techron for the past few years adding a bottle two times per year.
Interesting that a few weeks ago after a local run, I forgot to fill up and parked my car with less than 1/8th of a tank. The next week, I went out to another event and forgot to fill up. The low fuel DIC alert came up right after I got on the expressway. Anyway, I got off at the first exit that had gas and filled up at one of those generic Kwik Mart-like gas stations.
The next day I noticed the dreaded fuel pump hum. Since this is the first time I've heard it in 10 years of owning the car, I just thought it was my time. The hum continued every time I drove the car after the first five minutes. The next fill up was at Chevron and I decided to dump in another bottle of Techron. The fuel pump humming has since stopped. Coincidence? Not sure as I'm also not a chemist but I know what works and if it's not broken, I'm not going to fix it. I'm just going to pay more attention and make sure I don't fill up on the crappy Kwik Mart gas ever again.
Techron or not it a matter of time for the sender to fail.
The sulfur in the gas affects the silver in the pc boards in the tank, and that will create the fuel sender problems in the C5s and C6s.
Its not just C5's/C6's. I had an 06 Trailblazer SS and I had to replace the sending unit on it because the "brushes" on the sending unit wore down and once it got to a 1/4 tank it would go to 0 and set off the MIL.
Different issue but same result with GM sending units.
