Default Available 2004 Info?

Hello,

This Spring I expect that I'll sell my 1972 LT-1, which I've owned since 1982, to be replaced with a 2004 convertible.

I'm beginning to research that model, as I know basically nothing about it; and one of the items I'm looking for, and haven't yet found, is a GM parts catalog (paper or DVD-ROM) which covers the years 1997 through 2004.

Am I looking in the wrong places (ebay, google), or is such a catalog not available?

Thanks for any info!

Larry

You are talking about a time span that covers 3 generations of Corvette I doubt you will find one catalog that does this. The 3 generations are so completely unique from each other it wouldn't make sense to put out one parts book for all of them.

Crosis,

Thanks; I probably didn't phrase my request clearly enough - I'm looking for a parts catalog or DVD-ROM that covers the C5 generation, 1997 through 2004. I've seen used paper copies on ebay (and even had a number of my own at one time, but only up through the C4 generation) that were what the Chevy dealerships used in their parts departments. I'm looking for that item for the C5.

Larry,
There is a PDF version of a C5 Parts Catalog but it only spans 1997 thru 2002.

Try this site: http://shelor.net/Z/CorvetteForum/Docs/C5-PartsManual//

FYI : Many of the part numbers have been replaced and are no longer good numbers but GM dealers should be able to look up parts by these old number, they will automatically convert them to the new numbers.
