I think if your car was basically a stock Corvette, just street driven and taken to shows, the big wing on back would have probably generated the flames you expected.

But - you have a sweet looking, well executed race car that is still street legal. All that you have done to it is in the name of performance for the kind of racing you do...I think most everyone here on CF respects that.

That is what I was thinking, as I noticed this on race cars, like C6R, etc. they would run factory type spoiler, and wing, to catch air at different heights.

Do you do any road courses? Any cooling issues w SC on longer runs?

I have one on my Z, but just for street, and Dewitt's rad and Spall fans, so no issues, but just curious.

I don't like the rear wings/spoilers.
Except on Race Cars. Then it makes sense. Downforce matters.

Yours looks great!!!

I have never run on a track for 2 or 3 hours at top speed. I guess
heat issues would happen if you don't prepare ahead of time.

Since you are/were prepared for the full spectrum of opinions (and I'm in pain and drugged up from an operation)...I shouldn't disappoint!

IMO, a wing AND a ZR1 spoiler? Sorry but a HUGE UGH. Those tail light inserts are also seriously weighing you down at the track. Not feeling those things at all...you RICER!

Other than that, nice ride. Thanks for sharing bro.

What you've done to it, I applaud you. It's a RACE CAR, and they need BIG spoilers. Great car, you've obviously taken well care of it.

The little winglets on the front corners, for extra downforce. He is asking your opinion of how they would look.

I think they would look good, balancing front/rear, and probably help some.

LOL, sorry...my pain med drugged stupor I guess.

Personally, I like the look of some of the canards...however I don't see needing them functionally.

As far as looks, I wouldn't personally mix canards with a front splitter and I think the idea of having a front splitter, canards, rear diffuser, spoiler and wing would be way too much (personally).

Of course, to each their own and I can still appreciate the car! Sounds like she's got wicked power and drives/rides well.
