Those iPod adapters work great. I installed one and brought the cable out the right of the console so I can have a passenger access it or I can lay my iPod in the seat or on the floor.
If you need info on how to access the radio, here is a link. You can stop once you can access the radio.
I enjoy my music, and with today's technology the CD is obsolete (IMHO). I tried the quick and easy way using an FM modulator. Didn't work very well. Ended up with a IPod interface from Double D Mods, run through the 12 CD changer. Purchased a used 8g IPod...there are plenty out there.. Ten minutes to install, real slick. All controls now on the radio head. 2000 songs at your fingertips with perfect quality. I just unplug it when I park the car. Happy, happy happy...best 80 bucks I have spent on this car yet.
How hard is it to get to the plug on the bottom of the CD changer in the storage area? Does the CD player just pull out or is there more to it than that?

u don't have to remove the CD player. Just reach underneath and unplug the wires, it has a side clip to keep it locked in. plug the harness in, then the adapter, set DIP switches (the instructions will tell you which numbers) to on. Position wire with the IPOD jack and run it up to the passenger cabin or where ever you want to keep the IPOD

Dennis fixed me up with the adaptor and the speaker upgrade. A very simple install and sounds great. No battery drain (no more than normal) but now I have to get Dennis to fix me up with a sub and amp setup to really put the finishing touch on it.

Not difficult. Remove a couple of screws (maybe 4 screws?). And then unplug the wiring harness. I was not able to disconnect the cable until I detached the jukebox from the bracket.
