Default 3.73 or 3.9 differential?

I have a stock c5 with 3.15 gears and a stock t/c right now. I think it would be fun to get a 3.73 differential or 3.9 and add a yank ss3600 t/c. Is this too much? What can I expect in terms of results. Im looking for the most bang for my buck and its either this or a used s/c. What do you guys think?

If you're going to continue road trips I'd suggest 3.73's if gas mileage and easy drive-ability is a concern. If it's not, the 3.90's would be great without being as obnoxious (driving- and mileage-wise) as the 4.10's are.

I run 3:73's with a 3,600 and a 4,000 t/c and think that's the way the car should have come from the factory with an automatic. Mine also run low tens qtr. mile and I daily drive when I can...
