Default Sun Visor Bezel

Does the sun visor bezel/round filler piece come off of the sun visor arm? I removed my visors but now want to fill the hole.

As you can see, even though I was as careful as can be, I mangled the little piece. If I get it off then I may wrap it in CF before I plug it back in.

Any other ideas for filling the hole left by the removed sun visor?

Thanks!

Ok, so I understand they come off. What's the trick? If I break these any further I will just by a couple from VetteNuts.

What about using a plastic automotive interior cap/plug to seal the hole? You can usually find them at Autozone, NAPA, etc. Find one with a slightly larger diameter than the hole. You may have to trim the stem on the plug to make it fit. A little glue should also help keep it in place.

That might work very well.

I removed my sunvisers and am going through the same situation...

I haven't done it yet because I'm lazy, but Lowes sells round plastic plugs in a variety of sizes. I'm pretty sure one of the sizes will fit. Home Depot does not carry them, I've checked. They're in the drawers in the hardware section at Lowes.

You have to take a small screw driver and try to pry each leg around the visor shaft you will see a small lip on each leg that holds itself to the shaft. I just did mine today came right off, a little patience is needed they were a bit of a PITA but they will slide off. then I just reinstalled them in the bezel and filled with my plug from lowes.

Heres what mine looked like finished. The head of filler is about 3/4 of an inch I do not have the bag they came in these were some I had laying around. They do have the textured finish on them to match interior though. Now the plugs I had did not grip to anything so I used loc tite clear silicone put a little on inside of head and stick it on that's it any excess will just rub off when dried.
