I paid $23000.00 in 2010 for a 2003 vert. with 34,000 miles on it. (see the little pic to the left) If I sold it today for half that, I would say "MONEY WELL SPENT"!
I would be glad to take you up on that offer sir...$$11,500 + $500 tip?
Let me know...
Hey everyone I bought my Vette in August and it had a KBB value of 21k. Now 500 miles later it's only valued at 17k. Is this fairly normal for the C5 market and any chance it will bounce back?
I would not put faith in any of them. Take a look at what is for sale on Autotrader, Cars, Craigslist, etc. and think that they are the asking prices and most will come down during negotiations.
I do like KBB, NADA, etc for use in negotiations to buy one. Frequently they show a very incorrect value and if it is lower, it helps to negotiate a lower price when buying.
So after reading some comments I checked my car on kbb... It said $11,000!? Its a 2000 coupe with 70k on it... check NADA and its says $17,000 (bought the car with 60k on it for 16,500 last year). Im sticking with NADA!
