Today is 17 years since I first brought this fine automobile home. It has been every thing i could have hoped for. When I hear all the things that go wrong with cars on this forum I am a bit taken back with the problems because ( knock on wood ) I frankly have not experienced. My car now has 44000 miles and the car and myself do not look the same!!! Thanks for listening.

Great shots! Looks like you both have fared pretty well...

I shudder to a see comparison pic of me, from when I bought mine until now, and it's only been 10 years!!!

You are being kind , car looks better but the owner has gained a few and lost some . Same has happened to me.

Great looking C5, really like the wheels. I've gained 100 lbs since I went for my army fiscal. My eldest daughter seen some old pics when I bought a new RR in 68 and she said, DAD you were super skinny back then. Dr. isn't real happy with me, I've gained 12 lbs since I retired last Feb.

Actually in that bottom pic I'm down 30 lbs heading for 40. Doctors orders. Believe it or not!!

Really nice photos, before and after. If I spent as much time making myself look good as I do my car I might look a lot better to. Not saying you look bad Frank you have fared well.

Those are great pic's to have as an original owner. I think it's great to see people that can keep a single car for 17 years (that's 17 years longer than the average marriage) and still have clear passion and love for it.

You sir are the man!

Congrats - funny how we take better care of our Vettes than we do of ourselves sometimes (guilty as charged here too). Regardless, you both look great!

Car looks real good.

Never liked the standard wagon wheels. They date the car like your white sneakers... ;-)

Huge Congrats to you for owning that car so many years! I wish I had that patience. Car looks like new.

FYI-I just picked up a 98 Indy Pace Car from the original owner who happened to live in your area, who owned it for 16 plus years. Hoping it gets here soon and is in as nice a condition as yours!
