c5 plastic engine covers
i'm old school and would like to remove the plastic coil covers over the engine. just thought i'd ask if there are any tricks to doing this, as I don't want to break any of the plastic mounting tabs

They do just pop off but be careful when removing the driver's side - you have the braided fuel line that passes through the FRC and it requires you to flex the cover opening around the line in order to avoid scratching up the edges of the cover. I have put painters tape around the fuel line on mine (or a rag works well) to avoid the scratches.
