Yes I made the mounting plate out of three 1/4" thick aluminum parts screwed together to offset the lights, see picture #5; they are painted black. Here is link to the light supplier, http://www.theretrofitsource.com and http://www.hidplanet.com/forums/forum.php.

Which switchback lights are those? Mine are all clear like your first pic but when I hit the turn signal it goes amber. I would like mine to be amber/white just like that or were you turning and had the blinker on and he caught it at the right time? I see the other side is white

Oh, I AGREE totally, Radio Flyer "Angry Eyes" is my "Perfect" Light setup for the C5...
But while I dream of them 'someday', due to 'Priorities', I pick up a set of $1,400.oo Headlights for ~ 20 % of what they sell for????

I'm telling you Art you should just sell me the breathless lights and put that towards your dream setup. My car is black and will match perfect. Just kidding. If you decide to go for radio flyers let me know and I will take those of your hands. Going to look a way better than the bug eyes.
