Cant find a good hand held tuner for my 98 LS1 mostly stock so who does anyone recommend that is good at it if I send it to them. Would consider a good hand held tuner also.

East Coast Supercharging does the mail in tune for around $150. I'll probably try it after I put on a CAI.

After installing my headers in the fall I kept getting a few codes. After some research I sent off my PCM to ECS, wow, what a difference. Tuned out the error codes, skip shift, ect. and my car runs great....Best 149.00 I have spent to date.

Take your ECM out and send it in and they program it and send it back. A better tune especially if you have mods. Im going with a hand held right now. Im retired and back problems right now. I would have to remove the right front tire and take the inner wheel well panels out to get to mine. Not really difficult but a pain in the back really.
