Rear spring clearance

Default Rear spring clearance
Any issue with grinding about 0.25" off of bracket on end of rear spring?

This is for wheel clearance.

i don't think taking 1/4'' off that would really affect anything

That pic isn't my car. With my new wheels the spring is currently just in contact with wheel. I will have to either grind on spring or get wheel spacer. Or both.

I think you can get away with it and be ok..but I would deft research that a bit more to be safe

These are grand sport wheels. So no they aren't specific c5 wheels.
Plus my car is slammed.
