I have a strange request that I'm hoping someone can help me out with. Back in the day, there was a C5 Commercial where a guy was driving a convertible C5 in a parade, and it kept showing the speedo at like 2 mph, and you could see the tension building in the driver as he wanted to unleash the power of the vette. This commercial stuck in my mind for some reason, and I want to watch it again, especially now that I finally have a C5 Corvette of my own. I've found a couple of links to it on some websites, however you have to pay at minimum $39 to watch it, and I'm not about to fork over that kind of money. (here is one of the sites: http://www.advertolog.com/chevrolet/...arade-5296255/ )
Does anyone else remember this commercial? And better yet, anyone have a link to watch it free?
That was it! Thank you!!!
It's nothing fancy, and the other one you posted is a great one, that parade one just stuck out in my mind for some reason, as it came out when I was 18 and had no way of buying a corvette at that point in my life.
I hava bunch of commercials -- I bought a DVD from the NCM when I went down for a tour. It has most (if not all) of the corvette ads/commericals from over the years. More than happy to give you a peak, but I highly recommend you buy it-- I think it's on their web site .. I believe it was $30 or so, and it goes to a good cause
My favorite is the c6 from the superbowl -- the one with jump'n jack flash and the kids driving like crazies. The one the watchdog groups protested and had pulled
Thanks for posting those other commercials. It's been fun watching these, especially considering that for years the closest I'd ever been to experiencing a Corvette for myself was through commercials until I finally got behind the wheel of one in 2006 when I was 21 in Vegas when GM sponsored something called "The Drive" behind the Sahara. That got me hooked but it wasn't until this last year that I was finally able to have my own. Let's keep the commercials coming! Any other memorable ones that stuck with you guys?
