Thinking about customising my interior...

Black Carpet (oem), Gray Lloyds floormats with logo, Black / Gray custom covered seats, Black / Gray door panels (oem), Black / Gray shifter cover, e-brake cover, console cover and Gray seat belts. Also might get the steering wheel custom black and gray and also the other little pieces such as the glove box, knee bolster, etc. to match.
Also since I have a double din, I was thinking about custom painting it Mag. Red to match the car and also make the black and gray a little more interesting hehe...
There are some beautiful interiors, that guys have created in C5's here on the forum.
As you describe, is similar to my 'bucket list' for my interior, someday.
My car is QuickSilver, and I want the light gray (like Jacks), or shale. I'm not sure exactly, yet.
Wish I could get some swathes (color samples), of the leathers, and carpets, to see in person. Maybe you can, and I just haven't got to that point yet, to ask.
I like your plan, but I'd want new carpet, not black. Mine is black, in perfect condition, but that's the first thing that will go; if I can find a suitable replacement, at a cost I can justify. Again, I haven't gotten into this seriously yet.
But, I'm watching you guys, who are; trying to learn.
Good luck on your project. Take pictures to share with us, on your progress.

I had the console and gauge surround dipped in a wet decal transfer as well as the door handle bezel. When I replaced the seat covers I had them sewn with thread matching the base color of the decal. The decal I chose is a carbon fiber design with light gray base coat. Very subtle. You can see the decal on the valve covers

Does anyone know if the spray from most retailers for carpet works well? The trunk is actually mostly covered with the stereo stuff and lighting. I just have to paint the sides and far rear carpet black...
Anyone know of a tried and trusted black spray I can use?
I got Vet Essentials to combine gray leather with a black/grey carbon fiber looing leather and a small red accent to produce my seats. Also same carbon fiber leather for door pulls, arm rests, and center console.
I did start with a complete black interior and this seemed to spruce it up a bit. Check out some of my other posts about these seat covers.

That's looks really nice btw!! I am only painting the stereo console and the foglight bezel the same color as the car (after I fiberglass the double din). Also, I decided to just use my old trunk carpet (still looks new) and just use fabric paint like that Duplicolor stuff since very little of the carpet will be seen due to the custom stereo panels in the trunk

This cold weather here in IL really got me stalling with stuff argh!
