Default What shocks for lowered C5?

The car is about 6-8 inches off the ground. and bounces the front when going over bumps. I was looking into bilsteins sports, are these the one to get then for normal and occasional track days? Thanks

get some C6 Z06 shocks for best all around or if you want to spend a bit more go with the 04 Z06 shocks...

I have the z51 suspension on my 2000 and I can guarantee you that you wont be bottoming out on any bumps.

They have very little give and movement.

A classic sign of dead shocks when the driver notices bouncing.
"Sports" are a great shock and will give you a great ride.

When you think of Sport shocks don't always think of a "track" ride.
These shocks work with the springs and bars to better control the tire contact for better bite and handling.

Would you consider a Z06 a track car? I don't.
Maybe to go out and play for a day.
I consider it a remarkable handling street machine.
A precision driving tool. With a good balance of power and traction.

What a Corvette is meant to be.

I have a set of Bilstein Sports shocks that came off of my C5 for 1000 miles or less. I upgraded to LG Motorsports coil overs. If you are interested I would sell them very reasonable.
