All of the DIC comments and suggestive comments are hilarious...what really grinds my gears is when someone shuts my door by placing their grubby, greasy, little hands on my window to shut the door and use the window as the door to shut it...I WANT TO SCREAM!!!!!!!!! That has happened in my other cars..I make sure to tell them to NOT use the window in my Z

Treating a car roughly, like slamming doors, hard starts and stops, etc., is what makes most cars on the road wear out way faster than they should.
Even normal wear and tear will take its toll after some time.
It seems the difference with us Corvette owners is that we not only repair things immediately when they break, most practice a rigorous maintenance program.
I'm with you. I cringe every time I see someone abuse a vehicle. But hey, it's their property. They are free to do what they wish.
