Default High flow cats visible?

This is probably an incredibly stupid question, but shouldn't cats be visible? I just had a shop install a set of TSP LT's with high flow cats (I was very clear about this and it's on my receipt).

Anyway, I happened to be under the car today and I don't see any humps or any place for them to be hiding. I've searched and looked at pictures for an hour and I'd think I'd at least see a hump after the collector. Car stinks like a catless car but I figured they were just getting broken in. I just want a second opinion before I say something to the shop. Pics attached.

Yes, you should be able to see the cats if they were installed. From your pics, I would say they did not install them.

Gotta be honest, your pictures are not great. Headers, check. Reducer pipes, check. After that it's tough to say, but looks like no cats. Can you post a better picture between the reducers and connection to rear pipe section?

You do not have cats on there. They would be between the header collector and the X part of your Xpipe. Id be in touch with said shop for not doing the cats especially if you paid for them.

Wouldn't the exhaust system be too short without the cats?

I don't see them, but the pictures are not providing the best angles.

Did you give them the catted TSP Xpipe? Or were they supposed to supply and install the cats?
That is def the catless TSP Xpipe.

They ordered the parts for me and I didn't ask to see them when I dropped the car off. I got the car jacked up and it's just straight pipe from the collector to the axle. I emailed them, they have a good reputation and are a vendor here so I hope they make this right.

I'm certain I don't have cats, but here's some less awful pictures. I'm hoping it was an honest mistake but honestly I'm a bit annoyed because I was very clear about having cats, and they acknowledged it via email, on the phone, in person, in the quote, and most of all on my receipt.

Did they weld the X-pipe to the headers?

Yes. Another thing that had me scratching my head. One of the rear O2 sensor codes wasn't tuned out so I need to take it back anyway but now I'm just getting worried.

Yea I wouldn't be happy about them welding those on.
And I sure don't see any cats in that X-pipe. On mine with a Kooks catted X-pipe, they are right behind the header collectors, just ahead of the "X"

Def no cats. It would be a LOT louder without them so you should be able to tell by sound. Plus.. the smell.

Yeah that's exactly why I finally put the car on ramps. I know high flow cats are going to smell a little but the car reeks and is way louder.

I had them put on a Ti exhaust I bought from another member at the same time so I didn't have a point of reference on how loud it should be but something didn't seem right.

Hope it gets fixed quickly and to your full satisfaction. BTW, how were the header flanges? And the slip joints? Any leaks?
Not sure why they welded the slip joints, gonna be a lot more difficult to do any work there.

IF you purchased hi-flow cats and they didn't put them on, why didn't they give them back to you ??

And yes, you have NO cats on your system !

I'll bet it sounds SWEET though !

The ordered everything for me from TSP. I should have asked to see everything before they put it on. It sounds GREAT but I doubt an inspection station or cop would be impressed.

Everything looks okay, I can take pictures of the fitment and everything. No leaks that I can tell, maybe that's why they welded the joints?
