Default Exhaust System Recommendation

I have an '03 Z06. Used to have an '02 Z06 with Borla Stingers. I am looking for an exhaust for my '03 and found one at Eckler's with quad tips for $670. This is much less than Stingers. They don't say who the manufacturer is.

Anyone install this exhaust? Comments on sound? Would love to hear one.

Thanks in advance!

Did you like the Borla Stingers on your 02? It's tough to beat Borlas or Corsas. Sorry , I know that didn't answer your main question.

After going through a few exhaust systems I eventually made my way back to the stock Ti. I also added cutouts. So now I can be as loud or quiet as I want.

Stock TIs with longtubes sound great but GHL sounds like a muscle car and still no drone

I think this is my plan once I get some headers, but until then I will keep my borla

Borlas drone-

The stock titanium cat back is by far the best-

Add headers but keep the stock cat back for best sound- end thread/

that is my plan as well....add American Racing Headers and X-pipe and keep the Ti Z06 Exhaust system. Best of both worlds in my opinion.

Last summer I had Borla's new S Type 2 exhaust installed on my 2004 ZO6 before the headers were done and no Droning. And then I had my Headers installed to see the difference and still no droning just louder with the headers. I chose not to go with the Atak system did not like the sound of it. A lot of Vette owners do not have this exhaust on there car.

The OP mentions he had Borla Stingers previously but the post suggests he isn't going with them again. If drone is the reason, then definitely go with Corsa. Corsa's will not drone even with headers

I have had Corsa Pace Car for the last 8 years and still love them. They have a higher pitch to them from any other C5 exhaust you will find out there.

Exactly what I'm running...quiet when I want to be and still sounds nasty good at WOT.

Also, can't beat the weight of the stock Ti cat-back.

stay stock. exhausts just increase the number of tickets you get

or

if you have to change it, corsa is generally the easiest to live with
