post a pic and we can tell you what they are... personally I love my corsas, they absolutely scream at wot but they do have a higher pitch and a more exotic sound which isn't for everyone... I have never had anyone who has seen my car in person tell me that it sounded bad though, maybe they were just being nice... check to see if it does in fact have an x-pipe... if it doesn't I bet part of your problem is the factory h-pipe, if you swapped that out for an x-pipe you might like them a lot better... the h-pipe will create the gurgling noise you speak of, much like a boat motor idling in the water... an x-pipe will eliminate the gurgling noise but chances are you will still get a popping on decel... borlas will give you a much deeper tone but at wot they fall flat in my opinion
Ya...it has a Corsa X pipe...
It's too exotic for this old school motorhead
Thanx for your input!
Well...one thing we ALL know (or should know) is that we ALL like different sounds from cars...
I personally do not want my small block Chevy to sound "exotic"...
I am admittedly an "old guy" and I prefer an old school sound...if you want to know the truth I think the best sounding car out there has always been a Ford...something about a Mustang with a nice exhaust system Although I would never buy one
Anyways...I am attaching some pics of another exhaust that came off another Vette I had that was fairly quiet but I did like the way that it sounded...I have no idea what it is tho...???

those are stock mufflers with some cheesy tips attached to them
Awesome I thought they might be stock...
Now...what are these Cheesy sounding Corsa worth...???
When I hear it I feel like a sixteen year old in a Honda trying to impress everybody LOL
Personally I do not want all the attention brought to me...
SO...seriously...what are they worth...???
Thanx!

2020 Corvette of the Year Finalist (performance mods)
C5 of Year Winner (performance mods) 2019
if you are just looking for a stock unit you could post the corsas up for sale in the fs section and try to get a trade for stockers plus cash on top... priced right they more than likely won't last more than a couple days before they sell

depends what they are and the condition... post some pics and we can help.. generally the $700 range is what they will fetch
I know my Corsa System sounds nothing like A ricer or exotic. Sounds like a SuperCar to me. Love the sound and the sleeper affect. Don't sound like much at an idle but will wake the dead when you get on it. Doesn't sound really old school but a fuel injected, supercharged higher RPM engine shouldn't sound old school.
Well the Borlas I had did not drone at all. ..I loved them. ..
From what I understand there are 3 styles of Corsas...the previous owner verified to me that they are the "medium " ones...and that it is indeed a Corsa X pipe. ..
I also have an almost new set of stock pipes off an 04 that I might put on for now so I can sell these Corsas...
Once I get these off and get pix they will be in the for sale section. ..probably for local pickup as I don't want to deal with packing and shipping them. ..
Not sure what to do about the X pipe. ..is leaving that on an advantage over the stock H pipe?
Has anyone here tried the bypass mod or know anything about it?
I have these stock pipes off an 04...
I am considering trying this trick with these...I always liked this slim oval design...
Nothing much to lose...why not...
Thanks for the support Okeesignguy!!! If you have any pics or video of your system once its on - feel free to find us on Facebook or Instagram and maybe we can post for you. Thanks and happy motoring!
I have corsa pace cars also. The sound differences everyone has described are mostly accurate, but i would call the borla more muscle car and the corsa not ricer at all, exotic is pretty close. I got mine not because I want to sound like a McLaren but because I think it has a modern sound. The deep muscle rumble isn't en vogue with most current cars.
Unfortunately, if you want that "old school FORD" sound you'll need to buy a FORD. Corvettes have a different firing order.
I purchased the Corsa Touring model ~5 years ago. It sounded slightly "exotic" but, I knew I didn't want it to drone. Skip ahead 5 years, I now have a H/C motor with ARH headers. Goodbye "exotic" sound. Many folks at the track have said my car sounds like a NASCAR when I go down the front straight.
These systems that drone will make you want to suck on a gun barrel over time.
