OK. I'm 95% sure these are the sizes. I don't have the car at the moment so can't actually verify, but I put the same tires on my other vette. Fronts are 245/45-17, rear are 275/35-18. I didn't think there was that significant of a difference between the two.
Just compared on Tirerack's website and the 245s are 25.7" to the 275s 25.6". Is that enough of a difference to cause the problem?

Yep, there's your problem! Your rear tires are smaller than the fronts. You need to have larger diameter tires in the back, anywhere from 1/2" to 1-1/2" larger than the fronts. If you put 275/40-18s in the back, you'd be OK.
