I have recently made a few upgrades to my interior (new seat upholstery and a new audio system) and wanted to offer up the parts I've carefully removed if anyone is interested. I'm not posting in the "for sale" thread because I don't have a clue as to whether or not anyone is interested nor what a fair asking price would be. The specifics are: Lt. Oak Sport Seats complete (the driver's seat bottom has two cracks) and my Bose HU and front door speakers. The "Balance" and "Bass" pushbuttons cracked and came off (as is somewhat usual on these I think) but everything works correctly. I installed a Kenwood KIV BT901 h/u and Alpine 6.5" components in the doors. One of the previous owners at some point installed Diamond Audio speakers in the rears. I also put in an Infinity Basslink subwofer and am still working on the trim for that. Definitely having to make a few mods but love working on stuff like this. Anyway, here are some pics and if anyone is interested in the upholstery or the Bose stuff, let me know and we'll see if we can come to agreeable terms. Thanks!
Here are a few pics of the new system. It is a Kenwood KIV BT901 with Alpine 6.5" components in the doors, Diamond Audio 6.5" in the rears, and an Infinity Basslink sub-woofer in the "trunk". I haven't taken pics of the sub-woofer yet as I'm not finished with the install but I'll post when I get them. I also plan to run a camera to the front end where I can see when I'm parking and it will display on the head unit. I'll have to make a switch to simulate putting it in reverse but not a big deal. It may be more trouble than it's worth but time will tell. The Kenwood is a pretty nice unit and I have a USB stick with my tunes on it and so far, it sounds much better than the stock system did.
As you can see, I made my own speaker templates for the doors and I didn't take many pictures of the whole process but it's done except for the subwoofer trim out.
