New Michelin Pilot Super Sports arrived yesterday, less than 24 hours after ordering. Tire Rack offers great service. 275-35/18 for the front, 295-35/18 for the rear. Original Z06 wheels (rears) all around. I'm looking forward to seeing, as well as using this new (for me) setup. Pic(s) to follow after this afternoon's installation.

Good choice make sure to post up pics in one of the wheel/tire threads where 4x rears on PSSs have been suggested... it might help some people get off the fence
Thanks for the responses. But, after spending over an hour composing, editing, photographing, etc, I find I've destroyed my file. If I ever get over it, I'll try again. I've never tried to put photos up on here before. Right now, i'm out of patience with the concept of posting photos here. For future reference, photos must be under 1.5 MB. I think this is each, but maybe it's total per post, I dunno.
Background -- This is a 2003 Z06 with 16,000 miles. I'm coming off of OEM SuperCar tires on stock Speedline centrifugully cast Z06 rims.
Moments ago, my wife and I headed over to our favorite lunch stop. The route here includes some pretty patchy stretches of asphalt. Areas where I'd normally choose to stay in the smoother left lane than the more patchy right lane. On the new Pilot Super Sports, though, the patchy side seemed fine. Much smoother than on the SuperCar tires. No surprise, but this is not a subtle difference. I wouldn't be sensitive to differences many others would. I'm just not that tuned-in to tire and suspension response. So, while I cannot comment about traction (and never pushed the SuperCar tires either, so have no basis) I can say that the ride with these Michelins is much more comfortable than with the aged Goodyears, even though the new front tires have a lower profile.

It's actually a LOT less complicated than that if you use Photobucket
Snap the photo with your phone or digital camera, upload it to your Photobucket account, then go to that photo in your album... on the right, there will be four boxes with codes in them: copy the ENTIRE code that has [IMG] in it and paste it DIRECTLY in your post with no changes or additions and presto, you'll have embedded a photo in your post
