Default couple quick questions.

Question one... My drivers side seat, lumbar supports don't work. The motors make noise, but you can hardly hear them. The passenger side is loud, but works.

I know the nipple breaking on the bladder is a common problem, and i also found the "reddevil" fix.

I haven't pulled the seats apart to look at the bladders to confirm that they are broken, but I am concerned the issue lies somewhere else because of how quite the motor is...

question 2.... Not to start a huge debate or anything, but what is everyone's opinion on changing the tranny fluid? Car only has 71000 miles on it.
I am a little weary because on my LT1/4L60E camaro I changed the transmission fluid, and had to buy a perfomabuilt transmission less than a month later....

Regarding the transmission, is it auto or manual?

Its an automatic transmission.

I would also like to mention that the seats come apart a lot easier than expected, the bladders appear to be fine. I couldn't see or feel a kink in a line anywhere. Ill make final judgment when I actually pull the seats out, but that leaves me to believe it issue is with the motor... In which case I will probably just not have lumbar support on side of the vehicle.

No reason changing the tranny fluid should damage the tranny. I changed mine at about 12K miles (car was bought used and I just wanted all new fluids in it) and the tranny works perfectly.

I didn't wait for 100,000 miles on my 04. I changed all the fluids, except the brake fluid in 2013, one year after I bought the car ( did the brake fluid in 2014). The Vette had 56K on it when I changed the tranny fluid. I didn't think there was anything wrong with the auto tranny but after changing the fluid, I noticed that when I accelerate hard, then back off the pedal, the upshifts of the transmission where much smoother. I'm glad I changed it.
