I have a TPMS receiver, 4 sensors, and 1 fob from a 2000. They were working even after 15 years. The fob does loose it's sync after 3 or 4 days and you have to hold the two buttons and it resyncs. I replaced the whole system with the 2001 setup. My question is, is there anyone who would buy and what would be a fair price? I can't put it in the for sale section without a price. Help please. Car gas 45,000 miles on it. Rod

Even though they were still working IMHO it would not be right to sell them to anyone... they have probably reached the end of life expectancy anyway and you certainly wouldn't want someone to get them in good faith and then a week later have them start failing...
Why would you trash the receiver? Just sell everything as a package. Go on ebay and see what the receiver and FOB goes for. Throw in the TPMS sensors for free, someone may want to put in new batteries.
I just don't want to have someone think they are getting some thing they are not. I'll hold on to the system and watch the want ads. Once in a while somebody does look for these. Rod
List them as "RFA receiver for sale, working from a 2000. Sensors and fob included for free, but they're 15 years old." There's nothing wrong with selling something that isn't new if you describe it honestly. Someone may be looking for a pre-2001 receiver that either doesn't want to or can't afford to upgrade the whole system. As far as the fob, it can probably be fixed with soldering as in the "Legendary problem solved" thread.

I agree I should have been MORE specific, I was really thinking the sensors not the other items.
