On May 23, 2012 I joined this forum, one week prior to picking up my first C5. A beautiful black on Black coupe with 29k miles on the ODO. I took a train to Trenton NJ and met the owner who took me to a place where I could go over it before handing him a check. We both knew the second that I saw it that I was going to buy it...
Fast forward three yeas and here I am. I have met many forum members, gained a really good friend along the way. Asked for, and have given advice. Traded away stuff during the pay it forward thread at Christmas. Purchased stuff from private sales and from many of the WONDERFUL vendors here. ( and will continue to do so as long as my wallet can hold out) I have read hundreds, if not thousands of threads on modifying, fixing, going fast, going slow, what to mod, what not to mod. How to fix droopy visors , to installing headers.
As I look back I can tell you this...without exception everyone here is beyond words I have to express. Every time I have posted a question ( some dumber than others) I have always received numerous responses. This place is a plethora of knowledge and the people here are some of the nicest people I have ever dealt with. My car has come a long way since my first drive and it will continue to get better thanks to everyone here.
I just wanted to acknowledge the great people here and thank them for their time and efforts to keep this place awesome. If you are new here, don't be afraid to ask. Read the threads for new owners. And most of all, remember the wave.

Nice ride you've got, Ron, and glad you're enjoying the forum. You're right, it's a place to hang out with lots of great info available.

Couldn't have written it myself any better.
Without this forum I would still be riding with yellow valve springs on my '02 Z06 and no LMC5 installed. Actually I might not be riding at all.
Thanks Forum.
