Mine died. Ripped it out and replaced the orig radio with a single-din from Dennis at DD Mods
You can't get better advice or service. He provided a prewired cable that made the new head unit a plug and play with the bose system. Super simple.
And I got a unit with a plug for a thumb drive so I just dumped all of my music on a mini-thumb drive and it's in the car 24/7
