Go to a local Corvette show and ask to hear their exhaust. Sound is subjective each person will now comment on their own exhaust as the best with no drone. Good luck on your search but listen for yourself then do a search for the best price.

Bill Vett said it best. So subjective, and everyone will think theirs is the best.

Longtubes, X pipe and Corsa
Without the first 2 you won't get the classic muscle car sound.

Yes it is very subjective, But I also get lots of compliments on the sound of the B&B PRT's that i have on my car.

I quite like my Billy Boat Bullets
All you really need to do is make sure you have a decent amount of sound insulation and you won't get too much drone.

I do NOT have this combo on my car... but, from what I've seen on this forum that is a VERY popular combo...

The Corsa has a nice knarly hrrr sound with a different note on the back pedal kinda like a doppler effect.
And no drone unlike most other aftermarket catbacks.
Sweet

I added some muffler bypasses using Pep Boys cutouts and it adds IMO 10 db when you do a blast

The ONLY way to go to avoid disappointment.

I just installed a set of magnaflow 15713 , 4 inch tips, aluminum billet insert.

Its so weird, the forums are full of great info a lot of times, ive learned tons, but other times they are way off.

Reason I say that is I was told by many, and I seen many threads, where people knock the magnaflows for being too loud and too much drone, so I prepared myself to "wake up the neighbors" after the install, and basically.... its about as loud as the stock exhaust, just with a nice deep sounding rumble .

Its nice but its nothing of what people say, ZERO drone, ZERO rasp, just a nice sounding deep rumble.

Id recommend it strongly if your not looking for anything too loud.

I have the Corsa Indy Pace Car exhaust (now called Sport) on my '03 and love the sound. I do not have longtubes or an x-pipe.

Long tubes and X pipe, cam, heads? The comparisons have to be apples to apples and oranges to oranges...

Im just on stock everything, just did the catback system, and like I said, sounds great, but nothing like I was led to believe.

Very tame, got that low rumble, sounds good, just not very loud.

Wont be waking up any neighbors with it.

Definitely feel a SLIGHT improvement in performance as well.

I had the magnaflow 15713 on my car with longtubes and X pipe and it droned alot so much it gave me a headache so I took it off after 1 day and sold it to a member for half price and then I saw he was selling it a week later.

Maybe it's not so bad on a stock exhaust.

There ya go OP... classic... YOU have to listen and compare, but make sure you know what the car you REALLY like is running... is it STOCK except the cat back like ***** or Long tubes and X pipe like Strangelove... makes a BIG diff...
I'm running the TI Z06 cat back with a Vararam B2 CAI....I would really like to hear a car with the Bypass mod done so I can tell if I want to do that for a little more volume and maybe a little different tone....

Long tubes and Ti s sound incredible. Performance improvement while being louder but nowhere near obnoxious. No drone, but wails when you get on it. I love it.

I'd be more than happy to meet up with someone local to hear my car.
