Nitto--NT05
Looking at the original size 295x35x18 on original wheels--will the sidewall be about the same size as the front original tires? thx.

Sidewalls for the rears are shorter than the fronts. I run 295/35/18 NT05 all around now. I expected more.

The stock rears are also shorter--so nittos are even smaller? Also with rim protector on the fronts would also look diff from the nittos in the rear_

Nahh, they're the same as stock. I expected more grip is what I was saying.

Few weeks ago I got NT05's for my stock wheels. I'm no tire expert, but they're amazing compared to the F1 SCs they replaced.
Extremely pleased.

THX for the pics/info----if i get the nt05 for the rear--having the front tires with a rim protector--would that look strange with the nitto having no rim protector?

My NT05's will spin even if at 30 mph before going WOT. When I had NT01's out back, I couldn't spin them until they were a couple years old. I prefer the NT05 here in SW FL where it rarely gets driven in the rain.

New tires are better than 11+ year old tires.

Do you mean you prefer the NT01's?
DO the NT01's come in the same size?

No, I had 2 sets of NT01, in fact I still run them on my Buick, but on the Z I prefer NT05 so if it does rain I'm not worried too much.
