Engine Idle Smoothness Question
Should I expect as normal an occasional roughness (minor) during idle as the nature of the beast or should it be completely steady as she goes similar to my non-Vette daily drivers? Within the last year I have replaced fuel filter, plugs and wires, battery and had throttle body cleaned. I also use Techron every other tank full. If this is not normal what may be potential areas in need of attention? Thanks for any advice!

04 6spd 33k Vararam B2 TI exhaust... Idles a little rough intermittently, nothing consistent about it... just seems to on occasion take drink or inhale something it doesn't care for and shivers... then smooths back out.

mine idles smooth with a slight cough now and again, also if I stare closely at the rpm gauge it fluctuates within about 100 rpm +/- on start ups.
Id say , based on everything else ive seen on the vette, that this is normal.
This is not a highly refined , highly engineered car, and all of this goes with the territory.
Nothing to worry about in my opinion.

I have had three C5s and each one has had a slight roughness at idle. IMO, it is just the nature of the beast.
