How tough of a job is it to fix /replace gear shift indicator and light in gear shift ??? light is out and indicator is in 1st gear at all times ...xzo

No reason to remove the glove box that I know of. Simply removing the center console (has the center arm rest attached to the top of it) as well as the bezel surrounding the radio/HVAC controls will give you access to the shifter components.

I see often on Flea-bay replacements for the indicator and lens. Cost is around $25 if I remember correctly. I picked up one about a year ago on there. Otherwise I don't know of any other place to get replacements..
