Default Issue with vendor

Hi,
Recently i commande some parts from Col.........d (not sure the rule of the forum autorize i give the name)
Including a GM Performance flywheel and a RXT clutch (so, not the cheapest)
When i pull the clutch, i saw the flywheel was not the good one for my car
(Corvette 2000 LS1 powered)
But, the flywheel is the ref 12571611, from the vendor website at "Corvette 1997-2004" section and "GM PERFORMANCE"
They said (approximatively) : see on GM Performence catalog, the 12571611 is the good for you
Us (approx) : No, it is visualy different (flange on the 12571611 as the LS7 flywheel)
They said (approx) : Why your Corvette 2000 is different of the other Corvette
Us (approx) : No difference at all
They said (approx) : We cannot do something for you, you should verify that the ref was good

WTF !!! THEY VERIFY AND TELL ME IT WAS THE GOOD !!!

Note : I'm in Europe, so, difficult for me to call them or see with a lawyer. I have paid the parts from US to a friend in miami, and the friend send me the parts here in europe
It will be expensive to send back the part

So, they have right ??? the vendor website is false, they verify and cannot see this, and me, as a mentalist, i HAVE to know BETTER THAN THEY DO that it is not the good parts ???

I just had an LS7 clutch and flywheel put in my (LS1) car. Is there a reason the RXT clutch won't work with the LS7-style flywheel? I'm not very familiar with these things, but just because it's an LS7-style flywheel doesn't necessarily mean it won't work.

Actually, the correct section is the help forum under "transaction feedback". But nobody will see it there unless they're searching
