This is classic, more truth than just a meme.
After dating for quite a while, the first girl I got serious with said "Well, we'll need to sell your Corvette to get some money to buy a house", I think the relationship lasted only another 3 weeks.
The second girl I became serious with owned a Corvette. We became engaged then she informed me that we would keep her Vette but sell my 69, modded with a full-on LT-1 because she couldn't drive a 4 speed stick. I asked for her to return the ring.
The third woman I became serious with said, I know how much you like your Vette, we'll find a way to keep it. We just celebrated 35 years of marriage.
