For our friends in Texas and Oklahoma, I hope you and yours are safe and dry and of course your vettes !!!!!! Mr. 73 I know you live in Oklahoma, hope all is well with you !!!!!!!!!
Thanks Pounder... we live in a pretty remote area...we live on a pretty high spot. Flooding around us but, it would have to be EPIC for it to reach us... Now in Edmond, Norman, OKC, and LOTS of other metro areas they are getting hammered and it's NOT over....more coming tonight and tomorrow...most rain on record for May nearly 20 inches in some places for the month of May!
Funny though we still haven't driven the vette much... the county black top roads have SO much red mud on them from oil field trucks hauling water and oil, it's almost like driving on a dirt road...but, we really needed the water after the last 5 or 6 years of bad drought...
I took the camera the other day to show how nasty the roads were getting but, that morning a LOT of it got rinsed off... this shows a little bit of what it's been like

My prayers go out to all the folks hit by this bad weather! Having lived in the Houston area in the past I know first hand how heavy rainfall can cause big time problems. Stay safe!
