Awesome car Road Pilot! How much had to be done to make it fit?
The cowl had to be "filed" down. I have a blower and the TB (LS2)
had to be turned around because it was hitting the bracket. I had
to order special o rings for the injectors. The fuel rails (Holley)
were to high and the stands had to be ground down. The LS2
harness had to be extended because of the TB position. MSD
sent the wrong SS bolts and MSD sent longer bolts.
I have a LS1 engine . A LS2 or 3 or 7, probably would be a
better fit, maybe a little easier.

Oh yea the power steering reservoir had to be repositioned
forward because of the new TB position.
This intake was my first choice but I could not get around the
hood issue. I have a MCM hood and I could do some altering
but I did not want a snorkel or the intake hanging out.
Your set up looks sweet on your ride.

thanks! I used to run the fast 102 but I added a nitrous outlet plate system and wanted to tidy up my engine bay. running the holley I have a vacuum block mounted under the intake runners and my nitrous solenoids mounted on the bottom 2 throttle body bolts. it is a top end manifold but honestly cant tell a difference down low. it feels like it will pull for ever with the holley. btw my car has high miles on it but the driveline has all been replaced and upgraded, I added a wolfe racecraft 6pt. cage and figured cutting the cowl is no major issue. sure wasn't either lol.

Any dyno and/or ET you want to share. I am running a Wolf.
I ran before MSD 10's on street tires. Horsepower is sweet.

Hi Road Pilot, I have the Hinson Motor Mounts that lowers the engine by 3/8". Do you believe that would provide enough clearance for the MSD intake to clear the firewall/cowl area without issue?

Thank you,

Beat me to it. Should make for a lot less work with these mounts. From what it sounds like it would be easier to install the new mounts than all the fab work.
