I did a few searches and didn't find anything conclusive.
I am looking for a custom steering wheel for my c5, preferably in a smaller diameter. I'm ok with deleting the airbag or going with a custom airbag setup (somebody mentioned some guy in Germany?)
I have the Caravaggio sport seats and would like to 'complete' the look. Not a huge fan of their steering wheel.

I been researchig this quite a bit...there was a thread that if I recall, a guy used a 2012 GS wheel with a chevy express or cobalt single stage aigbag with c5 clock spring, you cannot add wheel controls without the c6 clock spring, but of your going aftermarket you might not care. I beleive in airbags and wat to keep mine, however I did roll over a car with no airbags in my youth and survided just fine....Ill probably go that route in the near future. I see if I can find the thread...
Looks sick make, where did you get that kit or did you have to buy it all seperate. And how did it keep the air bag of check engine light from coming on when deleting the air bag
The C6 wheel is supposed to be smaller. I'm working on the conversion for my own car and will keep the airbag if possible and also have radio and phone controls on the wheel. I've got the tilt shaft for the correct splines too.

It's a Momo commando, (not sure I spelled that right) I ordered it online can't really remember where but there pretty easy to find, it bolted right up with their standard wheel hub kit, air bag light is pretty easy, you can either buy a resistor kit from Momo, or a lot of people just make their own, there is plenty of info on it here on the forum.
As far as deleting the air bag, that's a personal choice and everyone has different opinions regarding it of course.
It really is a joy to drive and I don't regret it at all.
