Bad Gas
Has anyone ever bought a tank of bad gas. Last I purchased seemed to have a lot of moisture in it. I believe gas floats on top of the water. Anyway getting a LOT of steam on start up. I dont think the place I bought the gas sells too much 93 octane

I have had bad luck at Shell with gas, so I stay away. Hopefully the exhaust vapour is just that and not a leaking head gasket which can leak coolant into combustion chamber and cause steam coming out of tail pipes... Good luck, Rob

If it is ethanol blend, the water mixes with the ethanol and is dispersed throughout the gas. Noticable moisture at startup has a lot to do with outside temp and humidity. If the car runs good you should not have a problem. A bad head gasket will eventually lead to a misfire in the leaking cylinder.
