Default Part ID help please

I recently had a cam installed and noticed that this part was missing. It's the part between the master cylinder cover and the fuel rail cover. What is this and is it needed? Any help is appreciated! Thanks

Are you talking about the heat shield on exhaust manifold?

Thanks for replying. I think it is something to do with when I had the headers installed. Maybe something putting air back into the stock manifold that was longer needed with the longtubes.
