HUD gremlin
Last night when I turned on the HUD, this is all I saw.
Is this a major fix, or is there some easy process for getting it to work correctly.
Thanks,
Bob.

It may be DOA or not. The only thing you can possibly do is to disconnect the battery for a few minutes and see if it happens again.
If you need to replace and want some DIY guidnace let us know.

Never seen that before from a HUD. Do as recommended above and see what happens. Hopefully just a hiccup in the system and it will go back to normal.

Not sure what caused it, but today when I turned it on, it was back to it's normal display.

Actually the picture I got online from google, but it is exactly how the hud gauge looked last night.
When I first noticed it, I was driving the car.
Don't know why it did that, but right now it is showing the normal display.
A gremlin for sure.

I bet you already did, but cycle through the various modes of the HUD menu to be certain that you are seeing the correct screen.

That was the first thing I did when it didn't light completely.
Like I said, it now works like it should.
Can't begin to understand why it had a fit for one day.
I had visions of having to remove the dashboard to get at it to repair.
I sure wasn't looking forward to that.
