Model Cars
At all of the car shows that I've attended I see many cars with exact replica models sitting on their engines. I've looked for a model of my 2000 C5 Millenium Yellow Black Convertible Vet and have yet to find one. Does anybody out there know where I might find what I'm looking for? I'd appreciate any leads you may have.

Buy a kit and make one yourself for cheap. Yellow and black are common plastic spray colors. I'm trying to find Medium Spiral Gray. I may have to custom mix and buy a air brush.

I wouldn't mind having a scale model of my car too, but the graphics make that almost impossible. Good luck finding one the matches your full size car.

Pretty sure the Duplicolor folks have that: it was a standard GM code for several models, not just the '03-'04 C5.

NOBODY makes the 1998 Medium Pearl Purple in a coupe but they make the vert. So I had to make myself a couple coupes. Not hard to do at all. I don't take them with me to car shows though. Just a home display thing so I can play with them in private...

I couldn't find my exact die-Cast model so I made one.
2003 Black Corvette convert with Z06 details.
Found a close match, took it apart, then painted/detailed interior, carpets, plumbing, mesh grills and added Z06 wheels from another car....
I also made a scale set of shop manuals for the trunk.

I recently sold a plastic model of a 70 GTO on eBay for over $400. I asked the buyer what made it so valuable. He said he had been on eBay since the beginning and had never seen one before.

Medium Spiral Gray: I couldn't find it in spray from Duplicolor; had a custom batch mixed per the paint code and it didn't match either. Tried several "similar" grays, finally used Duplicolor Gunmetal Gray - not perfect but very, very close (used it on my front license plate surround).
