So I went to start up my 2002 C5 convertible this morning and the dash was spitting out all the error codes – service traction control, service abs, service tire pressure monitor, etc.
Any thoughts what I should do? This issue has happened in the past (rarely), but usually when I turn the car off and on it goes away, however I tried to do this multiple times this morning and could not get the flashing of the codes to go away. Any help would be appreciated the car has 31K miles.
First thing to check is battery. It should be 100% and make sure connections are good. Has it been sitting for awhile? Once you make sure battery is at full charge and connections are good then you can work from there.
I would disconnect the battery for 5 min. reconnect and see if that is a fix. Sounds like some electronics are tripping all over themselves so try a re boot.
