These won't go off even if reset, come right back on. So dealership checks it out and tells me both modules are out. Meaning $3100 to replace them. However, best case is replacing one might clear up the other, but their computer says both are bad.
Would like some info on your experience with these issues. A pricey fix for sure. Any help on this appreciated.
No error codes are showing up. I went through and cleared all error codes. The lights will go off if I hit the reset. But the message is still coming up. And lights are back on when I restart. I went through the manual reset procedure before I had it checked out.
Are you PULLING the codes as in the video above or just expecting them to show up in the DIC???
Take the car for a ride and when the lights come on pull over and PULL the codes BEFORE you shut off the engine. To pull codes with the engine running you MUST first clear all messages displayed in the DIC using the RESET button.
Post ALL the codes.
Yes, this.
If the lights are coming back on immediately then you should also get a new code. From there, people should be able to help you. I hope it's an easy and inexpensive fix for you!

I went thru the codes manually and reset all of them. But the lights and message is still there. l took the computer to the car and followed these steps before I took it in. I can try it again, but all codes got cleared.

Don't do that. Write them down, and post them here. Even if you previously cleared them, if the light is on then the code has been set again.

Before and after driving I got: 28-TCS 1codes (won't reset)
you need to watch the video carefully to be able to display the 1 tcs code. In a nutshell once you are in manual mode on the diagnostics press options once to get to tcs (1code). Then press the gages to display the actual tcs code.
Post back in this thread what the code is...... All 5 characters plus the h or c or hc that follow the code.
Don't worry about the b0 rfa codes. Those are for the receiver for the fob's and tpm's. Not relates to abs/tc/ah.
Thanks so much, at least now I know what I'm dealing with. The ship might have sailed for me doing this myself. And changing the pump looks like an overkill too.

C1214 means that the main relay inside the EBCM (Electronic Brake Controller Module) is failing. Could be because of bad/cold solder joints on the relay or the relay may actually be bad. NOT the end of the world.
Can be repaired inexpensivly but NOT by the dealer. Dealer wants to sell you a new EBCM (and that is about $800 for the part) AND they want to sell you the new pump which you DO NOT need. That is why they are known as STEALERSHIPS!!!!!
Are you mechanically inclined?????
If not you need to find someone that is that can help. You need to remove the EBCM from the car. The EBCM can then either be sent off to a shop that will repair it for $150 or less or if you are good with a solder iron (NOT A SOLDER GUN) you can replace the relay yourself.

Don't be so sure. I am 62 and I had the 1214 code too. I bought a brand new EBCM on Amazon for about $500 and replaced it myself. I took my time and now everything works like it's supposed to. It is an excellent time to change radiator hoses for it gives you so much more room to get to everything.
Find someone that can help with this. DO NOT let the Stealership bend you over the way they want. Even paying someone a few hundred to remove and reinstall the EBCM and then you sending it out for repair is a huge savings over $3 grand. Dealer is HUGELY taking advantage of the situation.
Worst case find a dealership that will just replace the EBCM with a new one and NOT the pump. That should be around $1000 to $1200. If I lived close I'd remove and reinstall the EBCM for a tall cold drink.......
I live in KY if that helps. I didn't keep up with the reply's enough and just trying to do it on the fly. My background gives me the tech knowledge to do this, but my age is another matter. The dealer will work with me on this with what I know now, but be a lot better deal to have someone work with me getting this done.
What about the tracking issue being on? Does this effect that too?

How did you id the module in your search for the part? Did just doing EBCM give you the module?

Looked up part number for my year at Rock Auto and searched for best price. Amazon had it. The EBCM is the module. Electronic brake control module. What year is your car?

2001 Maybe if I can get the part will be better than trying to repair the relay, who knows might just be a bad connection with the plugs.

I thought about getting mine fixed but I only wanted to mess with it once and get it over with. I still have the old unit which I could sell or keep for a spare. It could be a bad connection, but that code points to a bad relay and that's inside the EBCM.
